Shaping health
Opening day: April 28, 2006
What is the shape of health? Does a formal language of wellbeing exist? Do wishing well rituals and the fear of ill-luck belong only to primitive cultures or are they also part of ours? Is it possible to design a therapy?
Starting from these questions, the exhibition displays a story that comes to life through medical traditions and drugs design, wishing-well objects and new therapeutic forms. From the shape of the fill to new ways of taking drugs through the air, the exhibit shows the results of research that goes beyond current medical conventions and provide a peep into new territories of contact between designing projects and designing therapies.
