From the dawn of bio-technology to the research to fight rare pathologies, the exhibition explores the borders between natural and artificial, between reality and manipulation. A metaphor of innovative intervention methodologies envisaged by mondobiotech to work on the 7,000 rare pathologies and in particular pulmonary illnesses, the exhibition illutrates the potentials of an innovative approach by following, step by step, a research case. Starting from a chemical component that was already tested and considered pharmaceutically safe, harmless and generic, an intense series of comparative analysis and crossed verifications have allowed scientists to discover its new therapeutic qualities.
